7204-221 CHENEY nail holding hammer. Based on Thompson's 1927 patent for the mechanism that uses two spring-loaded ball bearings to hold the nail in place and marketed as the "Cheney Nailer." Large heavy head, near mint condition and looks unused, clearly marked with original 10" handle with decal. Far and away the nicest example we've ever seen. Fine (KNT080) 50-100
