*7204-129 Taylor-type iron brace. Similar to that patented by Jeremy Taylor in 1836 with a spring-activated chuck lever. Unmarked, and probably not made by Taylor since similar braces of the era are quite common; in decent condition for age with some shallow pitting. Cast iron head held by brass plate with "1-1/2" stamped. 8" sweep. Good+ (LHS247) 30-60
