6904-298 STANLEY No. 90 steel cased rabbet plane. Made only for 11 years from 1877-1888, this is one of Stanley's rarer planes. The soft wood has some dinging as usual and the steel has surface oxidation but no pitting, but the mouth has not been opened up, as so many of them were, and the patent date and Stanley mark are clear. The bad news - one of the arms on the fence has broken. A prior owner brazed it but it has broken loose. Either replace the fence or break out the J.B. Weld; the rest of it is very clean.
