7004-189 UNION TOOL CO. No. X3 corrugated sole bench plane. Very uncommon corrugated version of Union's equivalent to the No. 3 with Carleton & Trask's 1903 and 1904 patent vertical post adjustment.? Reglued mahogany tote with some chips from end, tight split in knob, original marked cutter, "Union" and the 1903 patent date cast into bed, light surface rust. Box also includes some kind of metal fence and screws; doesn't seem to fit with this plane but it's the box so we're including it. Good 100 - 200 (TWR220)
