7004-043 FISHER patent bevel. Looks to be an early version with no brass plate at protractor end and looks like it never had a plate there. Thumbscrew looks like replacement, and other thumbscrew missing on the protractor. Brass plate around level vial is strange in that it is open at one end and looks intentional, and the groove for the level vial extends out about an inch from that open end of the plate. 8-1/2" mahogany handle has some stains and chipping, protractor and blade are iron not brass and not marked with Fisher's name or patent like typically found. Vial wet. Unusual. Good- 150 - 300 (SPM1300)
